WHAT IS REFLEXOLOGY?

Reflexology is a Holistic therapy, based on the principle that there are reflexes in the feet, hands, and face and ears which mirror all our body’s organs, glands, and systems. When these reflexes are stimulated through gentle finger and hand movements, the organ, gland or system can return to a normal level, bringing about Homeostasis, the state when our body is balanced and working efficiently.

Things to bear in mind

  • Some areas on the feet may feel tender or sore, but reflexology is NOT a painful treatment to receive.

  • You don’t have to feel unwell to receive treatment; many people have reflexology as part of maintaining their overall health and wellbeing.

  • It is also important to remember that it is available for babies, the elderly and all ages in between.

  • The treatment is performed whilst the client is fully clothed.
